One big waste of time when you’re trying to get something done is having to deal with the frustrations caused by other people’s actions. When we’re frustrated by others, it robs us of being our best. But notice how easy it is to not only get frustrated but also how our frustrations keep building until we lash out! When others are in our face, and we begin to boil, the way to stop lashing out and getting back in control is to catch ourselves as quickly as we can and remind ourselves the other person is being who they have to be. They have to be what their mix is passing on to them in that moment. They’re not as aware as you are and trying to reason with them is not very effective when they’re upset. So it’s best to give them a break and not take them seriously.
