As you go through your day, try and observe when you’re feeling bothered in any way, about anything. You’ll find some things bother you more than others. The two primary feelings you want to observe is when you’re feeling:
Fear–worrying or being concerned about what is or is not happening regarding things that affect you.
Anger—frustration about what is or is not happening regarding things that affect you.
When you ‘catch’ yourself feeling either of these two try and ‘step back’ mentally and remind yourself you’re testing out a new skill this month. You want to find out what happens if you pay attention to these two emotions and remove them before you act on them. After doing this daily for a week it will become second nature. That’s it! Just observe and step back daily. Remember, if you don’t do this experiment there’s no chance for this process to give you what you want.
